First ever Nordic Innovation Summit for the Gig Economy Industry is held in Stockholm October 14, 2021

The Nordic Gig & Sharing Innovation Summit is presented by Aon and hosted by Gee, in partnership with Plattformsföretagen, October 14 in Stockholm, Sweden. This inaugural summit welcomes all stakeholders from the platform economy ecosystem, including industry groups, startups, investors and government agencies and officials. The Nordic Summit agenda is focused on policy & political issues, future of work & labor markets, financial inclusion & insurance, instant delivery & transportation, and technology & innovation.

Comment about financial inclusion or exclusion

Financial inclusion or exclusion? There are many factors and driving forces behind Financial Exclusion for temps, hourly or gig workers that are not permanently employed (fast jobb).

1) obsolete credit scoring, i.e. Mainly focussed on past financial history = not predicting future earning capabilities or good behaviours.

First ever gig conference in the Nordics. All primary stakeholders attended ranging from startups to government officials like the tax agency.

2) since the big banks require permanent employment (fast jobb) for a house mortgage they are working against mobility in the job market = bad for everyone (people & employers alike).

3) *** Trend: Thanks to tech startups & new regulations people will own their own data in the near future 🙂 PSD2 data & GDPR.
